Pixel Technix - Returning Soon

Dear former members and staff of Pixel Technix,

I, James Thompson, or more commonly known as Jimmy, am writing this to inform you of the situation that occured in the events in the summer of 2007, to apologize for the occurance of such events and to release some good, and hopefully long-awaited, news.

In 2007 there was a time of rapid growth, Pixel Technix, despite adverse competition from other rising graphic and media websites, some with many more features more than ourselves, we were achieving peak members of around 175-200 members with roughly 85% of those actively posting on the forums. Seeking to work on this rapid growth I decided along with the administration team to launch two separate websites known as Audio and Gamer Technix in order to expand on the forums which were currently in Pixel Technix's forums.

Alex owned his own hosting company called VGRUS and in exchange for hosting my website and forums with him, my prices at Bihira were matched while also Alex granting me permission to use his Invision Power Board license for Gamer Technix. Shortly after the transfer you all saw the splash page go up, and stay up indefinitely until the Violent Panda incident as well as the Admin-Nation incident which were simply described as 'cock-ups'.

The reason the splash pages were never removed was because nothing was ever finished, Alex had an unfinished server, it had neither APACHE or MySQL, and this was extended by the fact he shortly went bankrupt and my hosting was terminated.

I apologize for first of all breaking the promise I made when I messaged the original members that faithful day in August of 2006. I said that Pixel Technix would be invite-only with applications, I said that Pixel Technix would not discriminate based on opinion or style, I learnt a lot when I ran Pixel Technix and learnt a lot after it ended, I learnt how much Pixel Technix meant to people, so much in fact they called on me 6 months ago in June 2008 to re-make Pixel Technix, and I let them down because I had my exams, and I also founded GamerFM which I am now currently letting somebody else run for me.

Now, for the news. I am announcing at this very moment in time, that I am restarting Pixel Technix, it will comprise of a forum just like before, and will start out just like Pixel Technix did in 2006. It will comprise of a set of public and some private boards and it will have fair rules which allow for the true creative genius in every member to emerge. I am currently seeking some of the old members to assist me in this endevour, and I hope you're interested enough to register when this page changes.
